CNC Machine Operator
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate CNC & grinding machines safely and efficiently to meet production & quality goals.
- Accurately & legibly record production, downtime and scrap on daily production report.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on machines.
- Inspect parts and record data as required to ensure quality conformance.
- Report to Supervisor keeping updated on production activities and progress.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Proper handling of non-conforming parts.
REQUIREMENTS
- - 1-2 years of machining experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- - Prior quality inspections with various gages experience preferred.
- - Strong math skills necessary
- - Physically able to keep up with moderate pace of process cycle.
- - Ability to follow job specific instructions, both written and verbal.
- - Familiar with making offsets
- - Ability to work overtime as necessary
- - Able to be on their feet 8-10 hours per day
